Okay, so Dawnleaf's stoey gets confusing and I've been doodling her alot, so I thought I'd clear things up.
Dawnleaf's parents are Pondshadow and Duskpelt. She has a brother, Ripplekit, who was kidnapped by a rouge. Pondshadow is a ShadowClan cat. So a few moons after Dawnleaf was born, Her mother took her to visit her father. Duskpelt started back to camp, Pondshadow following to fast for Dawnkit to keep up with. In an attempt to keep up with her parents, she tried to jumped over a semi-deep, rocky, but small ditch. Dawnkit tumbled down the steep slope, passing out at the bottom.
She broke many bones that day, so she was stuck in the medicine den for a while. Lavenderclaw, the deputy, visited her alot, knowing the Dawnkit had a value of importance in some way about her. So the two became close.Dawnkit was also kinda sickly because she never got to go into the sun and play. She was finally let out a moon before her apprentice ceremony, so Dawnkit had already memorized alot of the herbs.
Waspstar, the current leader, died a week later. Lavenderclaw had to step up and becom Lavenderstar. When Lavenderstar returned from the moonstone, she had a dream. In the dream, Lavenderstar saw the ThunderClan cat from a bird's eye view. It was on fire and surrounded by badgers, foxes, and evil cats. A Large cat stepped forward and swiped all the dangers away, then sat and gaurded the camp, protecting it from the darkness making it's way to the camp. The sun began to rise, and the cat reached up to bat at a falling leaf. Then Lavenderstar heard this prophecy:
"Dawn will rise, a new leaf will fall, and the forest will be changed forever."
As Lavenderstar tried to figure out what the prophecy meant, Dawnkit made friends with her nursurey mates: Skykit and Sprinklekit, who were the exact same age as her. She also made friends with Moonpaw, a gray she-cat with a mysterious past. She grew her strength back, but was still slightly sickly. Dawnkit never wanted to return to the Medicine Den unless she was severly injured.
Lavenderstar begin to visit the kits again as their apprentice ceremony came around. She took notice to Dawnkit's knowledge of herbs and sickliness. The day the kits became apprentices, Dawnpaw was given the mentor Mothshadow, the cranky tom medicine cat. Dawnpaw refused to greet her mentor and wouldn't talk or listen to Lavenderstar at all.
